Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and mimi.link. ("MiMi", "we", "us"), for using mimi.link. By creating an account or using MiMi you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 to use MiMi. To sell downloads or receive tips you must be 18 or over, because our payment provider, Stripe, requires it.
• Give us accurate details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person or business per account. Don't create accounts to get around a suspension or our limits.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Your page and your link

• Your link (mimi.link/yourname) is yours to use while your account is active and in good standing. Some names are reserved, and we may take back a name that impersonates someone else or infringes a trademark.
• You keep ownership of everything you put on your page. You give us permission to host it, show it and make the copies needed to run MiMi, such as share images and backups, for as long as it's on MiMi.
• You're responsible for your page and everything you link to.

What's not allowed

You must not use MiMi to share, sell or link to:

• sexual content, nudity or pornography, including links to adult sites;
• anything that sexualises children. We report it to the authorities and close the account;
• terrorist or violent extremist material;
• instructions for making weapons, including 3D-printed guns, or for making explosives, or illegal weapon sales;
• illegal drugs, or how to make them;
• malware, hacking tools, cracked software, licence keys, stolen accounts or other people's personal data;
• content you don't have the right to sell or share, such as other people's films, music, courses or ebooks;
• scams, phishing, fake documents, gambling or get-rich-quick schemes;
• hate, harassment, threats, or anything encouraging self-harm or eating disorders;
• anything else that's illegal where you or your visitors are.

You also must not impersonate others, mislead visitors about who you are, send spam, or try to break, overload or get around MiMi's security.

Checks, reports and enforcement

• We check content to keep MiMi safe. Downloads for sale and new accounts' first links are checked automatically, and some are checked by a person before they go live. We may hold back, pause or remove content while we look.
• Anyone can report a page through our contact page. We act on reports as quickly as we can.
• If you break these terms, we may remove content, pause downloads or payments, or suspend or close your account. Where it's safe and lawful, we'll tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our email or contact us.
• We report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires, and we keep the records needed to do so (see our privacy policy).

Selling downloads and taking tips

• Payments go straight to your own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms. MiMi isn't the seller: you are, and you're responsible for your products, prices, any taxes, refunds and dealing with your buyers.
• Stripe charges its standard card fees. On the free plan, MiMi may also keep a small percentage of each tip or sale. The current rate is always shown on your Payments page before you sell. MiMi Pro has no MiMi fee.
• Only sell files you made or have the right to sell, and describe them honestly.
• Buyers get a download link that works a limited number of times for a limited period, shown at checkout.
• If you're a buyer with a problem, contact the seller first. If they don't help, or the download breaks our rules, tell us.

MiMi Pro

• Pro is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe.
• It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't give refunds for part-used periods unless the law requires it.
• If a payment fails, Pro features may stop until it's paid.
• We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and you can cancel before it applies.

AI features

Some features use AI to suggest content, such as page text, themes and imports from other link-in-bio sites. Suggestions can be wrong, so check them before you publish. You're responsible for what goes on your page.

Our service

• We work hard to keep MiMi running and your page fast, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove features.
• MiMi is provided for personal and business use as it is. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
• Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost sales, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that time, or £100 if that's more.
• If you're a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms don't affect.

Closing your account

You can stop using MiMi at any time. To delete your account and page, contact us from your account's email address. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell account holders by email or in their dashboard before it takes effect. If you keep using MiMi after that, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
